I'll be taking the server down for an hour or two tonight to update some validator and work generation code. It should be back up shortly.

I've not received any work unit for several weeks now; I've allocated 25% of my computer to the milkyway project... but no work units to work on. Don't know why! John

try to report 23 tasks, get 24 new ones, they get deleted within seconds.

rebooted and stopped getting the messages. I checked my wu error list for jys2x285win7 and I got maybe 1000 tasks that errored out.

What driver version?

Does the card work with any other project?

Are you running anon platform?

The first questions that come to my weak mind ...

{edit}
My next question, did you change something? I see some tasks are running and validating ...

I upgraded from 196.?? to 197.45. That seems to have started the problem. I thought I had stopped boinc before I upgraded. After rebooting I am occassionally getting driver error on collatz but milkyway is running ok on the same gtx280 system since the reboot. The installer did not ask me to reboot on that windows 7 system. Next time I will reboot just to play it safe.

I also upgraded this to 197.45 at the same time. It cannot run milkyway as it is only SP float, but it does not show any driver error under collatz for 197.45.

This was just a coincidence that the server down message was posted at the time I noticed the problem. Even tho there were 1000 or so tasks that were dumped within an hour, it could have been worse as I might not have noticed the problem till the next day. I have been playing with boincstasks and spotted all the message activity.
