I suspended the project while two workunits were crunching and got two error popups. 1/14/2008 6:18:02 PM | Milkyway@home | Computation for task gs_102_1200379015_31882_0 finished 1/14/2008 6:18:02 PM | Milkyway@home | Output file gs_102_1200379015_31882_0_0 for task gs_102_1200379015_31882_0 absent 1/14/2008 6:18:05 PM | Milkyway@home | Computation for task gs_101_1200379018_31979_0 finished 1/14/2008 6:18:05 PM | Milkyway@home | Output file gs_101_1200379018_31979_0_0 for task gs_101_1200379018_31979_0 absent http://milkyway.cs.rpi.edu/milkyway/result.php?resultid=2219400 http://milkyway.cs.rpi.edu/milkyway/result.php?resultid=2219303 me@rescam.org |

I suspended the project while two workunits were crunching and got two error popups. have you suspended other workunits and had it be fine? i've been trying to figure out whats causing this problem. it seems like it might be something we're not doing right with the windows api. |

The couple times I did they have failed, so I either close boinc or let them run. |

Suspending work of my other projects does not crash them. It happens everytime one is running and you snooze BOINC, suspend the project, or suspend the task. They also don't seem to suspend right away. They run on their own for a few minutes and then crash. |

1/19/2008 2:59:54 PM||Suspending computation - user request 1/19/2008 3:01:43 PM|Milkyway@home|Computation for task gs_120_1200773071_2167_0 finished 1/19/2008 3:01:43 PM|Milkyway@home|Output file gs_120_1200773071_2167_0_0 for task gs_120_1200773071_2167_0 absent I snoozed the client again. Got the MS popup again. As you can see the unit continued to crunch for almost 2 minutes after the client was suspended. Looking at the task manager the Milkyway app starting using 100% of the CPU. Given this is an H/T it shouldn't ever be over 50% for a single WU. The uFluids WU that was running with it suspended itself correctly and was showing 0%. http://milkyway.cs.rpi.edu/milkyway//result.php?resultid=2555510 me@rescam.org |
