Darned laptop has a i7 and a ATI 5870 and I cannot get it to run GPU without all errors after 3-4 sec.

Anyone have one of these up and running GPU? If so, I would love a solution to make use of this computor.

that's easy. althought u've got 5870, but it's mobility 5870. it has nothing to do with desktop 5870. in fact, it's desktop 5770 with lower clocks which got no double precision calculation support and that is why u can not use for MW. sorry to say, bro...

but u can use for collatz or dnetc

seti also works on the g73jh, but you have to be crafty to get the MB app. The AP app is on the lunatics optimized site.
