Perhaps things have been going so well that we ran out of WUs to crunch faster than anyone expected ;) Regardless, I hope to see more work soon - and perhaps a status update on the searches we're running?

Probably what happened. When I looked at the Wu's out yesterday it was at 56k.

Might also be another purge.

Is it possible to have multiple searches lined up so that when one finishes the next will be started automatically?

we'll be doing this in the future, but right now the tests i'm running are seeing what the effect of concurrent searches have on the convergence rates (ie, if i run more searches at the same time is it better than if i run less searches at the same time). due to the nature of the question, i can't really start up a new search before the old one completes.

i suppose i could set up some kind of search queueing mechanism on our assimilator, but that'll take a bit of coding.

i think that the 20wu/computer is not enough for computer that have 4 cores and more ... can you put a limit based on cores instead of computer ?
