Travis, you missed to define the "GMLE_BOINC" at preprosessor when compiling the apps ;) Without that the boinc client can't resolve the file names ... and the app will crash. Join Support science! Joinc Team BOINC United now! |

1.16 should work (as it's just 1.13 again). Yup. Just ran a 1.16 one happily :) 04/03/08 17:20:57|Milkyway@home|[file_xfer] Started download of file astronomy_1.16_windows_intelx86.exe 04/03/08 17:20:57|Milkyway@home|[file_xfer] Started download of file parameters_generated_1204713196_3337 04/03/08 17:20:58|Milkyway@home|[file_xfer] Finished download of file parameters_generated_1204713196_3337 04/03/08 17:20:58|Milkyway@home|[file_xfer] Throughput 5027 bytes/sec 04/03/08 17:20:58|Milkyway@home|[file_xfer] Started download of file parameters_generated_1204713196_3338 04/03/08 17:21:00|Milkyway@home|[file_xfer] Finished download of file parameters_generated_1204713196_3338 04/03/08 17:21:00|Milkyway@home|[file_xfer] Throughput 4685 bytes/sec 04/03/08 17:21:09|Milkyway@home|[file_xfer] Finished download of file astronomy_1.16_windows_intelx86.exe 04/03/08 17:21:09|Milkyway@home|[file_xfer] Throughput 90442 bytes/sec 04/03/08 17:23:06|Milkyway@home|Starting gs_283_1204713196_3337_1 04/03/08 17:23:07|Milkyway@home|Starting task gs_283_1204713196_3337_1 using astronomy version 116 04/03/08 17:51:05|Milkyway@home|Computation for task gs_283_1204713196_3337_1 finished 04/03/08 17:51:08|Milkyway@home|[file_xfer] Started upload of file gs_283_1204713196_3337_1_0 04/03/08 17:51:11|Milkyway@home|[file_xfer] Finished upload of file gs_283_1204713196_3337_1_0 04/03/08 17:51:11|Milkyway@home|[file_xfer] Throughput 2497 bytes/sec |

I found one of my G4 Macs (ID Nº5514) ‘thrashing’ with v1.15 today: “exited with no finished file†messages being logged every couple of seconds. I aborted the current task and the other one it had queued. (They haven’t been reported yet.) I notice that each of them was the third created from its WU, the other two tasks having got computation errors. |
