Yeah? What about now? There's still no work. In fact it didn't look fixed when you said it was! LOL!

No work units here, either. Did you run out of data to crunch?

I retract that: 4 units arrived a few moments ago. All is well.

Did you recently upgrade to Boinc 7.0.25? Has it been since you upgraded that you haven't gotten any work? If so there IS a fix but it involves doing one of two thing, the next version of Boinc has the real fix in it but temporarily there is another fix. The temp fix is to copy the below stuff into a small file in NOTEPAD in Windows, NOT A WORD PROCESSING PROGRAM, and then place it in the Boinc directory and restart Boinc. Then go back in and remove the notepad file. The file is cc_config.xml and is here:

<cc_config>
<options>
<zero_debts>1</zero_debts>
</options>
</cc_config>

Save the file as cc_config.xml as a TXT TYPE FILE! ALSO MAKE SURE you delete the file when you are done, or change the 1 to a zero so it doesn't zero them every time Boinc runs!! After you have the file in the Boinc directory restart Boinc and all should be good to go again, that is when you should go in and either edit the file or delete it. ONE WORD OF WARNING IF YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT ALL THIS MEANS DON'T DO IT!!!!!

Same here. Work is coming in a sporadic manner. Usually, the last few days, I cannot get the program to update and load new work. It's happening (or NOT happening lol!) right now.

Did you reverse the ver 6 cache settings when you went to ver 7?

Isn't Ver7 supposed to load and fix everything by itself?!

I'm using a MacBook. Any idea when this will be fixed?

Thanks!

Yeah, I fumbled the cache settings and stranded work all over my computer in different places. It was so bad that by reloading the program and then deleting it would not clean it all up. I had to completely remove the program, do a registry clean, reload it, and start all over, this time indexing the correct location for the cache. I'm going to end up with LOTS of aborted runs!

I finally got a couple of jobs loaded for MilkyWay@Home and 1 for Einstein@Home, but so far, that has been it.

7.0.25 as a new install since 4/15
Running 4 projects

Nothing from MilkyWay for last 2 days
Nothing from SETI last 1 day

Einstein running with no problems
GPUGrid running with no problems

Nothing on any of the other sites seem to be addressing any problems or work shortages due to being the end of the month.

Is there still a problem?
If not, How do I get MilkyWay and SETI restarted?

A new version of Boinc will be out that fixes the problems, timing is unknown though.
