As you know, according to Mayan calendar, the world ends on the 21st of December this year. Before that, though, I made a challenge to crunch as much as possible before the end. The challenge starts on the 14th at 10 o'clock UTC and ends on the 21st of December at 10 o'clock UTC (duh!). Let's hope many teams join it :)

Do the admins see any reason the servers might not be able to handle a challenge?

I think the servers will handle it fine. They've been running smooth for some time now

If you want to crunch as much as you can, more power to you. :)

Won't do much good though in the off chance that the world does end so soon, even if the Mayans didn't predict it. ;)

Hey, but the scientists could still use our results. You know, being scientists, they'll probably be privileged to come aboard an ark of some kind and be safe while we poor regular folks will be left behind. Of course, assuming they can predict the end :PPPP

I think more results is ALWAYS a good thing, but you do realize that they found where the Mayans were just starting a new calendar after 21 December....right? The calendar signified a line up of the planets, a significant thing especially to them, and NOT the end of everything. They have had several start overs of the calendars in Mayan History, one ends and the next one starts, no big deal.

Yes, I know that. But I thought it was fun to make a challenge for what some people really believe that it'll end at the 21st.
