Just got a string of failures, http://milkyway.cs.rpi.edu/milkyway/results.php?userid=1767.

Anything to do with Intel OpenCL, or is this an ATI driver problem or something else?

AMD/ATI seems to have a broken OpenCl driver in cat 13.4

THEY SHOULD FIX IT!!!

Try cat 12.8

I would support TRuEQ comment.

My understanding is the flawed OpenCL extension was introduced by AMD with 13.1, and they told no one. It has propagated through the 13.x drivers. So, 12.8 seems to be the best one to use ATM.
Go away, I was asleep

Uninstall cat driver again.
Restart.
Find file amdocl.dll or atiocl.dll and manually remove it.

I filed a support ticket to AMD about this 13.4 --> 12.8 and they say use third party software like driver sweaper to remove left garbage files.
Then install cat 12.8 again

remove Projekt milkyway from BM and the re attach to Milkyway again.

I bet it will work.

I think AMD should make a working uninstaller for their software.....

That might be it.
I always install AMD APP that comes with the driver.

go to the C:\AMD\support\"version name of driver installed"\Packages\Opencl directory and run the opencl.msi installer. It will ask you if you want to install or repair? Choose repair and let it run, then restart boinc. You can also download the "gpu_z" program and it will tell you if opencl is working before running boinc.

Normally the SDK isn't needed.

Only the AMD APP part which is included in the driver nowadays.
Choose advanced when installing cat and you'll see all the parts of catalyst package.

I got the same problem as you today.
I did install and uninstall 12.8 4 times before it started to work.

AMD should make a working installer/uninstaller to their software.

The windows restore points can be handy some times.

Yes! That is the one I use for x64 Win7.

But to fully clean out the previous driver files (.dlls) a manual removal of SlotMaximizer Be and Ag will be needed to be done from both the System32 and WOW64 folders as well.
Go away, I was asleep
