No idea ...

But, for me, it has been a pretty frustrating couple of weeks ...

So many projects seem to have simultaneously run out of work ... or have gone off the air for unknown reasons ... sigh ...

Not that I am out of work, or even close to running out ... with 48 projects in my "string" and with about 25 projects per machine none are running out ... but is playing hell with my plans and plots ...

I certainly seem to have plenty of WUs ;)

Maybe my computer is biting off a bit more than it can chew?

I apologize if I helped in the lack of WUs, didn't realize that my searches were that close to done.

But I started new ones yesterday.

I am getting:

7/8/2008 10:20:09 AM||Project communication failed: attempting access to reference site
7/8/2008 10:20:09 AM|Milkyway@home|Scheduler request failed: Couldn't connect to server
7/8/2008 10:20:10 AM||Access to reference site succeeded - project servers may be temporarily down.
Doesn't expecting the unexpected make the unexpected the expected?
If it makes sense, DON'T do it.

I got a bunch of ghost WUs 4h ago.

In my Tasks for Computer you can see 8 WUs, sent at 12:15UTC (That's 14:15 my local time). Here's the messages from my BOINC for that time:
Di 08 Jul 2008 14:15:41 CEST|Milkyway@home|Sending scheduler request: To fetch work. Requesting 14817 seconds of work, reporting 8 completed tasks
Di 08 Jul 2008 14:20:52 CEST||Project communication failed: attempting access to reference site
Di 08 Jul 2008 14:20:53 CEST|Milkyway@home|Scheduler request failed: Timeout was reached
Di 08 Jul 2008 14:20:54 CEST||Access to reference site succeeded - project servers may be temporarily down.

I just got 20 new ones, so somehow they don't seem to belong to my quota, but I just wanted to let you know ;)
