Just installed a GTX 760 card tonight and now all my GPU WUs are failing: 02/07/2013 21:03:05 | Milkyway@Home | Requesting new tasks for NVIDIA 02/07/2013 21:03:08 | | App version needs OpenCL but GPU doesn't support it 02/07/2013 21:03:08 | | App version needs OpenCL but GPU doesn't support it 02/07/2013 21:03:08 | Milkyway@Home | Scheduler request completed: got 24 new tasks 02/07/2013 21:03:08 | Milkyway@Home | [error] App version uses non-existent NVIDIA GPU 02/07/2013 21:03:08 | Milkyway@Home | [error] App version uses non-existent NVIDIA GPU 02/07/2013 21:03:08 | Milkyway@Home | [error] Missing coprocessor for task ps_modfit_15_3s_test_5_1372784655_15370_1; aborting 02/07/2013 21:03:08 | Milkyway@Home | [error] Missing coprocessor for task de_separation_85_DR_8_rev_3_1_1372784654_34110_0; aborting It's using the latest 320.49 drivers. I'm sure the card does support OpenCL, so is this a WU bug ? |

Just installed a GTX 760 card tonight and now all my GPU WUs are failing: MilkyWay REQUIRES cards with 'dual precision' computing, it appears from this pre-release review that your card may not have that: "Recent report on Videocardz hardware news site revealed that the GTX 760 graphics card is due to launch on June 25, and the specs have been listed. The report indicates that the new card will use the GK104 die, with a core count of 1152, which puts it between the GTX 660 and the GTX 660 Ti. The basic specs match the OEM version of the GTX 660, but with 32 ROPs. As such, it cannot be considered an upgrade for 600 series Kepler cards, however it offers a new upgrade option for users of Fermi and older GPUs. The 1152 CUDA cores are clocked at 980 MHz, with a boosted clock speed of 1033 MHz, giving a theoretical maximum single precision compute rating of 2257.92 GFLOPS. There are 96 texture units, offering a throughput of 99 gigatexels/s, and 32 ROPs provide a pixel throughput of 33 gigapixels/s. The 2 GB or 4 GB of 256-bit GDDR5 memory is clocked at 1502 MHz, 6008 MHz effective, giving a memory bandwidth of around 192.3 GB/s. The standard display outputs will include Dual Link DVI-I, Dual Link DVI-D, HDMI and DisplayPort. The card requires two 6-pin PCI-E power connectors to provide it's TDP of 170W, higher than the GTX 660 Ti due to the increased memory bandwidth. Prices are currently unknown, and more information will be listed when the card is officially launched next week." The page is here: http://www.cpu-world.com/news_2013/2013062201_NVidia_GeForce_GTX_760_GPU_Coming_Soon.html Have you tried rebooting the machine one more time, just to make sure everything is found during bootup? Another issue could be the brand new drivers, all new drivers are for gaming, NOT crunching, as that is the major gpu market. I have an Nvidia 560Ti and it worked just fine using version 314.07 of the drivers. You might try downgrading and see if they work for you. |

Just installed a GTX 760 card tonight and now all my GPU WUs are failing: I think the 320.49 is the release driver for the GTX760, so he cannot downgrade driver versions. Yes it is. http://www.geforce.com/drivers/results/63458 |
