Got one MilkyWay@Home N-Body Simulation multytask runing for 190 hours How long past the 'normal' range is it? If it is more then twice as long it would have been history along time ago for me. Aborting a unit is NOT a bad thing if it just isn't working on your pc, not everything works right in every configuration. Think of workunits as food, when I got out to eat I do NOT like everything put in front of me, some things I just don't care for so don't eat. I don't feel bad about not eating it, I just move on to something else. If I can't crunch a unit successfully I do not feel bad either, someone else may do it with no problem, I am just moving on to a different one. |

ITs not my computer and I haven't been with it since a few weeks, so i have no idea what the estimated time was / is. But i know it has been running for 200 hours now (50h x 4 cpus). I have to go and take a look at the wu in loco. |

Also it could just be the default settings telling Boinc to not run if the pc is busy doing other things that are using the cpu. Eventually the unit will expire and all the crunching will be for nothing. |
