Hi ! I have a computer with 2 different GPUs : HD5850 and 7790. Boinc detecs them both, and I can crunch the Collatz project. However, I would also like to crunch the MilkyWay@home project, which is more interesting for me. Boinc GPU recognition : 18. 4. 2014 10:07:45 | | OpenCL: AMD/ATI GPU 0: Bonaire (driver version 1348.5 (VM), device version OpenCL 1.2 AMD-APP (1348.5), 1024MB, 1024MB available, 1204 GFLOPS peak) 18. 4. 2014 10:07:45 | | OpenCL: AMD/ATI GPU 1: Cypress (driver version 1348.5 (VM), device version OpenCL 1.2 AMD-APP (1348.5), 1024MB, 1024MB available, 1548 GFLOPS peak) 18. 4. 2014 10:07:45 | | OpenCL CPU: Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E3-1230 v3 @ 3.30GHz (OpenCL driver vendor: Intel(R) Corporation, driver version 3.0.1.10878, device version OpenCL 1.2 (Build 76413)) 18. 4. 2014 10:07:45 | | OpenCL CPU: Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E3-1230 v3 @ 3.30GHz (OpenCL driver vendor: Advanced Micro Devices, Inc., driver version 1348.5 (sse2,avx), device version OpenCL 1.2 AMD-APP (1348.5)) When I ask for work, I get this : 18. 4. 2014 10:08:35 | Milkyway@Home | update requested by user 18. 4. 2014 10:08:36 | Milkyway@Home | Sending scheduler request: Requested by user. 18. 4. 2014 10:08:36 | Milkyway@Home | Requesting new tasks for ATI 18. 4. 2014 10:08:38 | Milkyway@Home | Scheduler request completed: got 0 new tasks It is this computer : http://milkyway.cs.rpi.edu/milkyway/show_host_detail.php?hostid=558982 By the way, I can get work ONLY from the Collatz project. The project preferences are enabled for every kind of task, except the CPU tasks. Googling and searching was not helpful, I found nothing similar to this problem. Is there something I am missing ? Thank you for your reply. I will send any log you want. |

Two things you might try, suspend Collatz then try to get some work from here, you may have your cache full of Collatz units and MW realizes that you don't need any more work right now. Second you might try upgrading your Windows machine to the latest release version of Boinc, 7,2,42 and see if that helps. Some of the older Boinc versions had scheduling issues that have been improved in the newer versions. |

If you are still stuck, what worked for me ( with a 6970 and a 6990 which wouldn't work with later drivers ) was to run amdcleanuputility ( downloaded from AMD site ) Then install cal 12.10 and SDK v2.8. Install the drivers from AMD, not those provided by windows. |
