I am having an issue that seems to be caused by the new teststars WU's. Everytime my machine gets a load of them and they error my boinc client does not request any new work for a long time and just idles there. Ive got force work fetching on in the cc_config.xml but that doesnt seem to help.

Is there any way to opt out of testing in the future?

Currently, the Modified Fit application is our under development application, while normal separation is considered the stable version. I post about a year ago on a news post how to opt out of the new application. (http://milkyway.cs.rpi.edu/milkyway/forum_thread.php?id=3363#60004) Modified fit, the application, is actually very stable at this point and the issue right now is arising for the work units I am sending out. Currently, the issue you are seeing is caused by a misconfigured parameter file which is in the process of being fixed on our end. I hope to have this fixed by the end of the day today, and I will take down the current runs causing errors. As I said in the news post devoted to these problems though, the runs take a couple days to clear out of the work unit queue so it may not be resolved immediately.
