Hello -
I have fired up some of the old sun sparc systems and since they are not stressed at all at the moment I have installed BOINC - the Seti App runs fine but the MilkyWay App keeps returning invalid data to the server - is there a known issue with the MilkWay App for sparc64 ?
Running 11 Sun Sparcs on Debian 9 ...

Hi Robert.

Did you compile your own version of the MW@home binaries? The error I am seeing from your work units is
APP: error reading search parameters file (for read): data_file == NULL
21:16:22 (80277): called boinc_finish(0)

which seems to me that is can't open the parameter files. I am not too familiar with the machines or operating system you are running on so if you could give me some more information about how you set things up I would appreciate it.

Nope I downloaded the MilkyWay at Home Boinc APP from the repo.

I can compile one myself if needed ...

I am not sure who maintain the MilkyWay@home app on the repo for Debian 9. It would probably be best to try recompiling the code from here. https://github.com/Milkyway-at-home/milkywayathome_client.git

If you have any trouble building the app let me know, you should be able to just run the build.py script and it will build for you.
