Looks like it's getting to be time to rise and get some work done.

I wonder if I lie down whether the feeling will pass?

Good morning John & Houdi. A rather few warm days in store so we hear. So much so I got the Air-condidtioning unit out from under the stairs last night. It's one of those things the size of a small fridge on wheels, that you top up with water and ice cubes. It's remote controlled and works quite well.

Got the room down from 85F to 75F last night without too much trouble, although I don't use the built in ioniser as it doesn't help anyone with asthmatic tendencies. BTW notice the F, this is an imperial household!

More weather talk.. ;-)

How often is it Too nice weather
to paint??? hehe - Its so sunny
and warm here too, that I can not
get done much. First I cant paint
the walls In the sun - but have to
wait until its gone to another side
of house. Second; I cant paint much
then either, as its still too hot.

Its all im thinking about now - to
get as much as possible done of it -
and.......... huh!!

the forecasts says 21`c - but we
have had 28 to 30 for 3-4 days now..
I think they are afraid to announce
it too nice.. so they cut off on the
forcasted temperature ;-) They also
forcasted rain today, but there is
not a cloud in sight.. well..

Some water talk too. Two days ago the
water disappeard - and that of course
now in the middle of such warm days..
We got to know that there was a boat
that had collided with a water pipe!! ;o
Well...it took almost a day to get it
fixed.. but we got our water back in
the end.. ;-))

Summer talk;

No matter what - it IS Lovely!

Hei Miss Moon, glad to know you are still trying to paint! Here in the UK we are set for a real heatwave over the next week. I have had to go to my other place and shut down 7 pc's because of it. It was 100F in the computer room......

Yup. My classroom was like an oven, I assume they are trying to get it so hot that the pupils will spontaneously combust.

I do believe that's how it works. I've also been on the other end where you could see your breath and 95% of students wore coats in class.

Yeah, in one school I used to work at the heating broke in the science department and they didn't fix it. We were warming the labs with bunsen burners before each lesson. :(

About right. In my college the heating goes on 1st October, no matter whether we have 6" snow or a heatwave. Our building facillities dept are a bunch of useless wa****s.

I wouldn't have believed it, but it got to 100F in my garage yesterday. I expect I'm going to have to switch something off in there...

An open and baited bear trap on the inside and under each open window would be a far better deterrent.
