Thanks for GPUGrid preferences, Mr. Myers. It really helped. I believe I've found the main problem with why the preferences were lost. In the project_specific_prefs.inc file used in BOINC, there is a line of code which is necessary to show the preferences:
define ('APP_SELECT_PREFS', true);

When we were copying over the files to the new server, this line and a few others like it were omitted. After pasting the missing "define" lines back in the inc file, I loaded up the project preferences site to see if it was fixed, however, the preferences were still not visible to anyone. I feel like there's a step I'm missing when updating the website code. Does anyone have any suggestions?

The percentage between projects is a per day thing and is based on credits not number of workunits.

No. The internal value "rec" in the client_state.xml file is used and this is not based on credits.

If you give 2 projects with different credits the same resource share and let them run for a couple of weeks to stabilize you will see that they will each get half the cpu time.

I think the problem is the high default setting (10000) of the "max tasks per day" parameter in the application details of a host.

The value goes up with a valid return and down when a result is invalid.

If the default value would start lower (perhaps 100) a bad host would block itself real quick.

WUs need to be 1000 times as big. WUs last like 30 seconds at 4x and some of that is crunching at the end.

Hold on there are users who don't have a GPU and use older hosts.
A single result takes about 30 minutes on my system.

If results become bigger there need to be seperate results for GPU and non-GPU hosts.

The project has a very low maximum for CPU's of just 3 units.

So if your server has 8 CPU's 24 units is the max limit.
