Amazing and you are in it!

The Milky Way galaxy is expanding outward, with older stars near its center, and younger ones found towards the outskirts, tens of thousands of lights years away.

Hi Richard,

I've been monitoring what you have stated and it looks to be so. I'm now down to only 2 showing "Validation Inconclusive." Thanks for the feedback, I'm happy to see all is running smooth.

Hi Alinator,

I figured that we should expect a certain percentage of error on an experiment that we work with. From time to time as I turn off BOINC, it stays active anyway and I have to kill the application in Windows task manager. Also, it some times crashes my NVIDIA drivers or I crash them. I'm sure that could account for one or two a month. Thank you for the abundance of knowledge!

Hi Anthony ,

Even though I have several project running on my GPU, check out my WU totals now since I have utilized MY as well on my GPU. An increase from an average of 1800 credit to over 16,000 credit. EVGA NVIDIA 470 looks to have no issues at this time.

Hopefully I'm not beating a dead horse here, so I added a screen shot!

I just added WUs to my EVGA NVIDIA 460 yesterday and the results are sweet! From 18 - 20 hrs CPU time down to about 58 mins or so! Great job coding guys.

Hi all,

Just posting my EVGA 470 GPUGRID numbers for you to review. I just started with this new card and already have done more crunching from the end of July to now then the past 10 years of the CPU to GPU evolution!
Note: I leave my computer on 24/7 but do surf the net and play video games as well. I upgraded from a Evga 260-216x added March 2009 'til July 2010 (see graph below). As promised, I'm still crunchin' WUs on my CPU for my Milkyways!

Hey all,

So as you have read, I bought a Nvidia 470 that can't currently be used with MW but can with SETI. Yes, bummer....

Please respond if you know of other applications that currently can do so and I'll add them.

So I just bought a Nvidia 470 GPU from Doc that uses "1.21 Gigawatts of power" but it can only be used in the future. Ha ha, great Scott!

So all, since SETI is down for several days a week, I need a NEW cause to crunch. I'll start a new thread. Please response to what you know the 470/480s can do.

I just bought a new Nvidia 470 over the weekend (260 died) and although it crunches SETI GPU WUs fine, all the Milkyways error out. Any suggestions?
