yes, I saw the mail about it. Still curious to see this, given it hasn't even been implemented at SETI@Home (or their beta site).

I already do badges for almost every other project which does them. Given most are credit badges or RAC based, that's easy enough to implement with the values that come out of the standard xml files anyway and until all the projects adopt this code I can't change it. And for those projects which offer individual subproject data (PrimeGrid, Yoyo@Home, NFS@Home etc) where they give badges by subproject they can't adopt this code at all.

But it should work here. I'll watch out for it in the exports.

All I really need is a some type of file csv/xml/json/other containing a list of userid's who have the special contribution badge. Updated daily would be enough. I would script something to pull the file and parse, storing the list of id's in one of my tables.

It could be added to the standard boinc xml user file too, but I suspect this would be more trouble than it's worth.

Any chance you could create a simple xml/csv/txt file containing the id's of users who have the special contribution badge so it can be displayed in external sites? I'd rather not have to scrape individual pages to get the data if at all possible.

Thanks!

An addition to this.

The service levels are easy to calculate based on the create_time field in the standard boinc export, so really it's only the extraordinary contributions badge that would be needed as a specific export.

And I don't think it's really worth it.

Is there any chance we could get an xml export of the badges?

The credit badges are easy enough to calculate, but in order to get the time and other badges for a signature we need to scrape the user page individually.

A few of the other projects are providing an xml output in order to only require to download a single file instead for all users.

His id is 1055,

in my stats I don't delete the user accounts even if they disappear (though they are flagged for deletion at a later date if required...). It's kind of a bug, but this kind of thing has happened enough that I stopped the auto-deletion.

Hi Jim!

it would be nothing more than upgrading to the latest server software. Which gives other nice things too, so should be done, but would require some time which I know everyone is short of...

Actually thinking about it though, I'm not sure they can implement yet as it will rely on the boinc client recognizing the ATI cards and according to the dev lists, David Anderson is waiting on ATI to send him a card in order to implement this much the same way they do the nvidia ones..

Are you planning on offering the coproc information in the xml stats at all ?

Seti implemented a server-side change in the code to do this and gpugrid followed..

Allows the stats sites to display the information on the host pages like here

Still working on this. are there any tools out there where i can use the exported stats so i know that i've updated them correctly?

http://stats.free-dc.org/new/projpage.php?proj=mil

shows that they have updated... my scripts check once per hour for the value of last_update_time in tables.xml having changed. If it has they download and parse the rest of the files..

Two seperate things..

The stats on the website itself are being updated ok as far as I can see, though personally I think they should be updated hourly.

The xml stats files are not being updated at all, I suspect the cronjob to run them is incorrect. I would suggest this is scheduled to run every 6 hours or so..
