5 different OS; 7 different CPU families; ... no WUs for 11 computers in over 24 hours!
2) Message boards : Number crunching : WU just stops (Message 1370)

I've had an increase of 'stopped' WU. Most get stuck in the 40-60% completed range. P3 & P4 Intel and a K6-2 AMD - none of the Athlon 64 or the Mac Core2 have 'stopped'. Win2K; Win2K Adv Server; WinXP and 32 bit Linux for OS. Boinc 5.10.30 for Windows and 5.10.21 on Linux.

Only the older architecture cpus seem to be affected on my end if that's any help.

3) Message boards : Number crunching : How long does it take for you? (Message 1357)

For my laptop (2100), it take about 33-35 minute for 'odd numbered' WU's (i.e. gs_74_1199384298_41763_0), and 13-15 minutes for 'even numbered' WU's (i.e. gs_80_1199384296_41713_0).
Is there anyone else with longer processing times?

I can assure you that my 400MHz K6-2 laptop is MUCH slower ...
4) Questions and Answers : Wish list : 20 WU per core - not per host (Message 1315)

Post:
My 400MHz K6-2 gets 20 WU
My 3.2GHz Athlon 64 X2 gets 20 WU

It takes an average of 66000 seconds of time for the K6-2 to complete 20 short WU and about 200000 for long WU.
It takes the Athlon 1750 for short WU and 4500 for long WU.

The reasoning behind the per host limit is time of return of the WU. This is an extreme example, but it shows that issuing 20 WU per host would not affect timely return of crunched WUs ...

Has anybody had a 'gs_90' wu run? At least half of the stuck units are 90's.

I've had plenty of gs_90's run ...

Most of my stuck wu are 70's and 80's.

As banditwolf said, abort any WU that fail to complete downloading AND abort the transfer. As soon as I did that, I got my full 20 WU.
