Post: Mickey, I not understand. once you say you want to use both GPU and once you speak about overheat !!! Milky use about one core from your CPU. So it can not produce overheat. If you run at same time other CPU project, it is logical that overheat comes. By the way, you not crunch on Milky already 5 days. Are you sure your question is on the right place ? You speak about laptop. Is it your i7-3612QM under Win10 , IntelGraphic HD4000, who was the latest seen on 30 april !? All seem to be unclear ! Best regards. Take care, stay at home Is there a reason why no one has created an app for Intel graphics. Seems like there are a lot of them out there to take advantage of. |

Post: Hello, the same for me ! But : a solution : go to download directory of project. Download manually. Perhaps you will receive a security alert about "publisher can not be verified ". Trust it. Unblock file(s) with file properties. Then copy it to project directory and manually "run as admin".... Restart BOINC (not a reset project because it will delete all). |

In fact, the limitation of 80WU is not a bad idea. Already one day, all my WU are finished and unable to get any new I understand, sometimes it is needed to make a big clean. For sure for DB. Now, I also understand limitation of 80 WU/hot or GPU to prevent some "ghosts" to take a lot of WU who will never be crunched. But also o prevent server overload. Till now, the deadline is about 12 days. Increasing the delay, is perhaps not a good idea. This to prevent not returned WU (for sure for host who runs CPU's WU For the next two days it is challenge on FormulaBoinc. I see on server status no any problem. On friday 31 august 16:15 UTC, there are about 400,000 WU "in progresse. Considering 80WU / host (CPU and or GPU), it seem to be about max 5,000 hosts. So why not to increase WU limitation ? On my best host, I run all task in about 5 hours (with a little GPU) Admin knowns server capacity. Best regads to everyone from Belgium first team |
