At the other end of the spectrum are those of us with part-time (not to mention older and no GPUs) machines. I just broke 45,000. ;-)

Can the User Tasks -- http://milkyway.cs.rpi.edu/milkyway/results.php?userid= -- page/db be modified to display the last week (or so) of "valid", "invalid", and "error" results? The only thing I ever see is "pending" or "in progress".

Does this mean it will properly send NON-SSE2 WU's to the old AMD machines which do NOT support SSE2?

Does the latest Milkyway WU software use SSE2 or similar? Some older machines do not have those instructions (especially AMD), and that may be the cause of this rash of Compute Errors with Illegal Instruction.

The other day I aborted a WU where I had spent 10 hours crunching but the % completed was still on zero.

I had never had that happen before.

Today, it has happened again. I have spent 1.5 hours getting nowhere.

What is happening please?

Mike

You probably got one of the "new" v3.01 files. It took my machine 20+ hours to complete the last one (normally MW takes about 10) and it never showed anything other than 0.000%. If you have the patience, just let it run, eventually it gets there. (See other Posts elsewhere.)

I have been running de_mw3_s11_test_4532_1271886235_0 using milkyway3 version 1 for 10:13:40 with 0.000% Progress and "---" To Completion ... My machine usually takes about 10 hours for Milkyway WU. Based on the other Posts, I will let it keep running (at least for today).

Why does Task not show recent history -- just In Progress / Pending? I would be nice to see what credit was being received.
