Well that pattern has been solved...

Have they proved that crop circles are made by aliens?

Crop circles are made by excessive internet advertising.

I usually use a stick or three and some string :p

LMAO I'll bet you have made crop circles a lot, you rascal!!! :-P

Hi guys, Ice, Misfit, others...

Ice, you look terribly blue, I hope you're not feeling blue as well?

At this time two weeks from now I'll be in Milan, Italy, sipping some very good red wine, and waiting for having dinner served for me cooked by my Italian, he will cook pasta for me. We will have a wonderful time together in Milan. I can't wait! :-D

LOL Yes Ice you look very frozen. Looks like I soon can skate on you.

Ice, I visited my brother out in his summerhouse today and I so regret that I didn't bring my camera with me, because then I would have taken some pics and would have introduced you to his cat Anton. ;-)

Anton is a housecat, he's white with a very few dark hairs in his coat, a little at the top of his head and on his tail. His eyes are like amber. He is so cute!

Anton is a roof cat, or a weather cat he also can be called, he likes very much to climb up on the roof top to sit and look down at what's going on. He is very interested in what we talked about, my brother and I, and when my brother showed me the garden, he followed us around, and when we stopped to look at some flowers he saw his opportunity to get rubbed on his belly. Else he likes to roam the area, and he likes to visit the neighbors because he gets treats there, like roast chicken or beef, or salmon, or whatever they are eating there. When I leave he stands in the entrance to the garden looking after me like "She's leaving???", I can see that little white head all the way till I get to the street, where I have to turn so he can't see me anymore. First then he leaves the entrance.

Next time I visit them out there I will bring my camera and then I'll show you some pics of him. He is such a good cat, nice and cute. :-) He cuddles all people, he's so trusting.

I only have Vista on a laptop and right now it's getting no upgrades - just getting turned off to stop adding to the heat....

Hi Ice! :-D

The Vista SP2 just came last night, at least the Danish version. You really should think about having it installed, they have taken care of a lot of the resource problems in the previous versions.

I thought about getting Windows 7 as soon as it was out, but I read that it's not a seamless upgrade from Vista, you'll have to do a lot yourself, taking backup of everything, having the harddrive formatted and then make a clean install of Windows 7, where after you must install all your programs on that. So I don't know if I want the hassle, and I don't even know if those of my favorite programs can run on it. I'm not unhappy with Vista, I'd say I'm positively surprised of it, it runs fine on my computer. And with the new SP2 it should run even better.

Microsoft has promised some special discount upgrade prices on Windows 7 but so far there's no signs of that they will give them here, so if I have to pay at least 120€ for it and I can't be sure that it will work well with my programs, I think I'll pass.

I did two major upgrades last night, Vista Service pack 2 and Firefox 3.5. The new FF is fast! And from what I've read about Vista SP2 it's much less resource demanding than what SP1 was.

They both seem to work fine so far...

May he rest in peace.

He should be remembered as an outstanding artist, his talents as a musician and a dancer were extraordinary. His devotion to charity should be recognized as well.

He was a sad and tormented soul who now has got peace.

God bless you, Michael Jackson.

Oh, and I did find out how to enable links and pics

That's great. I got to know phpBB quite well, but when the latest version came out I manged to lock myself out of the forum and couldn't see any posts let alone pics, and I was the owner/administrator! Fortunately I still had access to the permissions and eventually sorted it. I prefer tinkering with html, which reminds me, I must get my websites sorted. Hope your forum goes well.

Thanks. Yes, people have started to arrive, it's really nice. And I am getting to know it better now, I am fine tuning the appearance and functions, also to give people rights, which is quite simple actually, you just create a group and then attach people to the group when they have signed up and I have approved them. But I'll play a lot more with it, introducing different skins and such, then they can decide what they want to look at.

I noticed that Googlebot was snooping around there, but since it's a closed forum I don't think that it will cache anything there. There isn't that much traffic either to be interesting for Google. I just tried to search on something I know is posted there and nothing came up in Google.

Oh sorry, there's a new thread.

...

Private consultation? Yes please. I am tingling all over in expectation ;P

But I'm not sure I can remember the admin rights stuff since I haven't administered a forum in ages. I just have my own websites like zslip and enable everyone to take a look :)

LOL Now now, control yourself! :-P

I have worked on the forum since I posted here and I have figured out a lot. The only thing I haven't figured out is how to upload some emoticons and then have them for use in posting. I am allowed to add up to 50 of Millan's emoticons, she has become less strict in her terms of use. So I have just uploaded some to my Photobucket and then people can use the links to there if they want to use them

But people have started to arrive and I have set up their accounts with the rights, I have created a group of staff who have more rights than the others, they can read and post on the private forum, and my co-town founder has got even more rights, I have appointed him to general moderator. I'll see if I'll give him administrator's rights, if he knows how to make the emoticons work I definitely will give him the admin's rights! The whole forum is hidden for everybody else than the ones who register, and I will approve them to prevent that outsiders get in. We don't like spies there, you know. We don't want anybody from outside our little conglomerate to see what we are up to when we are in war with someone and their towns or what else little schemes we like to brew together when we want to retaliate. You know the drill. Hehe! ;-D

Oh, and I did find out how to enable links and pics, my co-town founder was quite unhappy when he found out that it didn't work, so I had to have it fixed. He's a military guy, he has his ways with me, you know. I like those firm soldier types. ;-D

Along with some Ludwig Von?

Ohhh, yes, one of Kubrick's masterpieces. I've always loved that movie ever since the first time I watched it. I've actually read the novel by Anthony Burgess in a wonderful translation.

Frak Me is back up. Had to start from scratch because of a take down order from the lawyers of Glenn Larson. For some crazy reason he thinks he has those words copyrighted. He'll have to sue Ronald Moore and David Eike first for using them for 4 seasons. The lawyers at Paramount said it was OK to use so the jokes on him.

....

How did I miss that little titbit?

Misfit, someone really tried to have you ?? LOL

It's spring here. I love the spring when the trees start to become light green of new leaves.

I'm just so happy that they have stopped dropping leaves all over the garden. But the corkscrew hazel is still dropping twigs everywhere. It saves on prunning I guess ...

But you should have pruned it back in the autumn. There's a big corkscrew hazel growing in my brother's garden, it was as big as a van, so he has pruned it to a nicer size. He cut off some very long branches and some twigs back in November, my boss got them all, she uses them for her Christmas decorations. And now it looks much more nice and healthy.

Or maybe England's Red Rose in a blue dress

Ohhhh, I've just bought a box with the two dvd's, The Complete Elizabeth Collection, with Cate Blanchet as Elizabeth the 1'st. She was robbed, yes robbed, for that Oscar Gwyneth Paltrow got instead, she was much better as Elizabeth than Gwyneth was in that stupid Shakespeare in Love movie.

I've just watched both movies, I've seen them some times now, they are very good movies.
