And this happened: The milkyway_nbody version 140(mt) process is jumping all over the place between about 30% and 100% CPU usage, not really utilizing the CPU properly. I have a Core2Duo E8400(dual core, 3GHz, no overclock for now) Any thoughts? Never mind, I found out that I have left the checkpoint interval on every 1 second. The big spikes were all from checkpointing. Now that I have set a more sane value, it is working fine.
