All my N-body v1.68 tasks sent on 5, 6, and 7 Jul have failed (Error while computing). Run time was never more than 3 seconds. Yet the one reported on 27 Jun (task 2367978675) was completed and validated. The one reported on 26 Jun (task 2367620524) had a validate error.
I am on a Mac and the OS that I am running is Darwin 16.7.0 and the GPU is an AMD ATI Radeon HD 6970M (1024MB) OpenCL: 1.2.
I have not gotten any new tasks since 7 Jul and my account says that the last contact was on 8 Jul at 18:30:06 UTC.
I am just wondering have I missed something or do I really have a problem?

My projects status states that communication is deferred 22:00:00 yet the status of all the servers shows green.

FYI

As of 0440 UTC Sept 27 I have 73 tasks listed in the error tasks in my account and another 47 on my computer waiting submission. They are all 1.37 (opencl_ati_101) tasks. All of the MW@home 1.37 tasks run normal with no errors. I have not noticed any mass comp errors prior to approx. 23-24 Sept.

Thanks Robert

The last 2 days (24-25 Sept.) all of my MW@home 1.37 (opencl_ati_101) have failed. A total of 41 tasks.

All say Computational Error and show an elapsed time of 1 or mostly 2 seconds.

I am running an iMac 3.4 GHz i7 with 16 GB of memory, 2 GB AMD Radeon 6970M, using OS X 10.9.5

I have had an occasional comp error previously but nothing like this.

Any suggestions?

Robert

I have found out that if one runs long (more than a reasonable time) all I have to do is suspend it and then restart BOINC Manager and it will reset itself and run to completion. I have not had to abort any since I started doing this.

I am running N-Body 1.52 and the first one that started (ps_nbody_9_09_15_orphan_sim_0_1437561602_553_1) has been running for over an hour and has been at 100% complete most of the time. Estimated time remaining when I first downloaded it was approx. 2 minutes. I am running it on a Mac 3.4 Ghz i7 , AMD HD 6970M Graphics card with 2 G video ram, running 10.9.5.
