Take a look at the DB server crash thread -- that will explain what happened -- the only lost credits will be those reported between 4AM and noon today. Those are likely permanent toast.

I lost 26073.9 on my account.

edit: read the above post (was posted while i wrote my post), lost none today.

Take a look at the DB server crash thread -- that will explain what happened -- the only lost credits will be those reported between 4AM and noon today. Those are likely permanent toast.


Yep, the database was restored from 4am, so anything crunched between then and recently is lost. Can't do much more than that sadly ;(

According to boincstats.com i've lost 154k nearly. But Milkyway user account shows nearly amount ive got yeasterday. Its gonna be OK i think.

When I found out about the crash I suspended Milkyway processing to avoid WUs completing and reporting, as I suspected something like that would happen. Seems I did the right thing!

As I said in another thread, well done on the quick restore!

I think the loss of completed work is marginal, and I complement Travis and the rest of the team on the speed of the recovery and how little seems to have been lost.

I agree 100%. Good job Travis and team. Loss is minimium compared to what it could have been.
