What catalyst version have you found to be most stable and not repeatedly BSOD or do anything else funky on a regular basis?

Using Catalyst 9.4 for my HD4890 on Win 7 64.
Haven't tried any other versions, 9.4 works for me so I'm not going to mess with it.

the funny thing is this...
I did the whole 9.7 full install with CCC and all. Would have constant driver crashes which would stop MW cold forcing an exit and restart of Boinc manager to get running again.

Yesterday I uninstalled CCC and it has not stopped or crashed once. It will occasionally freeze the system for a second or two but then immediately kick back up. So far no BSOD...

I got similar results running 9.6 and 9.5 though those would also cause BSOD or completely lock up the system.
9.4 would run but still just have the occasional freezing to content with.

also how have you gotten more than just MW to run?
I have a quad and cannot have MW and something else running or else MW will eventually stop asking for work, or simply not run the work it has.

I already have my preferences at 90/10 in favor of MW yet this still happens.

I am running SETI at 850 and MW at 150 and usually have a full cache of work on my quad.

I am running the Crunch3r 6.6.20 release on my system.

I am running the Crunch3r 6.6.20 release on my system.

On my other systems that are all CPU I have no issues with multiple projects.
But this is CPU and GPU and Boinc screws it up somehow.

How i get that thing working. cat 9.x x86 boinc and x86 mw app.

1 First use catalyst built in uninstall from cat installer remove all. DO not restart pc.
2 Second i use that thing http://drivers.softpedia.com/get/Other-DRIVERS-TOOLS/Others/ATI-The-Catalyst-Uninstaller-10.shtml
This erase all ati files after program start click cancel.
3 Then use driver sweeper 2.0x remove all ati stuff twice. Do not restart or reboot yet.
4 Then use ccleaner remove all unused reg keys then restart box.

After reboot should videocard use standard vga drivers. Open device manager and install drivers from disk if cat installer refuse install video drivers, ccc and other suff should install fine.
Restart box after driver install

Rename dll files from syswow64 for x64 and x86 from system32
aticalcl.dll to amdcalcl.dll
aticalrt.dll to amdcalrt.dll
aticaldd.dll to amdcaldd.dll
copy renamed files to system32
and syswow64
X64 boinc or x64 mw app shoud maybe use aticaldd64.dll files. 3 files needed rename.
