I can't seem to find a current list of supported ATI cards. ... my apologies in advance if I have missed it.... I am especially interested in support for 5770 my Win7 box. |

Unfortunately the 5770 and 5750 do not support double precision and will not work here. |

Your HD5770 will run just great on the project Collatz Conjecture. http://boinc.thesonntags.com/collatz/index.php Regards, Bill |

Unless ATI changes something, they only have the x8xx cards support double precision. Kind of odd, but not much we can do about it. Currently the 4850 / 4870 are cheaper than the 5770 and the 4870 at least is right around on par in gaming performance. I'm looking at getting myself a $100 4850 to replace my 3870, should be a nice boost to my gaming and crunching. As for cards not working I was told when I started up that currently to get an ATI card running on MW you need to use the optimized app. And read something in the last few days where Travis did say he was going to put the ATI app serverside after he irons out the current set of server bugs. So if you don't want to run the op app it should start working on it's own accord sometime soon. |

Wrong, ATi 4770 has double precision. 4730 maybe also ? not sure right now. |

4770 has but 5770 hasn't double precision. I tried to sell a 4770 in the last days and get none. Seems to be sold out or production is ended. I don't know, i hope that there is only the old problem with the yield-rate in 40nm-process. |

I had no problems ordering a XFX 4770 from Germany recently, check here : http://geizhals.at/eu/a426938.html :) |
