Can't help, my three are all 1156 sockets. Each has dual 5970's. One has a GTX260 for Seti as well.

How did you manage to get ATI and NV running together? On my Vista64 - System the NV-Card is always disabled - Windows says, incompatible grphics card.
It would be grat if you could give me a hint!

    Using Asus P5Q, tried with 2 NV-Cards + Vista64, OK
    Tried with HD4850 + GTS230 + Vista64 - no chance.

The answer to that question is Windows 7, it allows different brands of video cards to be in the same system.

Tyan 2892 and 2895, got cheap on ebay. The 2895 has full x16 signals on both x16 slots whereas the 2892 has only one full x16 signal. I think the 2nd slot is x4 signal. I have replaced 5 capacitors on the 2895 and I think 2 on the 2892. I think the problem was lack of cooling (which I have since fixed) rather than the quality of the caps. Right now, they are in another room and if I can't hear the fans then I know something is wrong. Had them for over a year.

I have since picked up a really cheap MS-7380 (msi for single 775 socket) It has two x16 but only one is x16 signal. However, the spacing between the two x16 is larger than the tyan. It is not fully populated as I am waiting for another graphics board I got on ebay.

I've tried it on my other machine; yes, it works there.
    Thanks a lot!

Well, I spent quite a bit of time reading forum posts.

The problem is you cannot have two controllers, eg, Catalist and Nvidia. So you just load the specific card drivers, ONLY. So I run Catalist and the 260 drivers.

    Reboot.

BOINC will show the various cards.

Seti is easy, it just looks for a NVidia card, finds it and starts crunching WU's.

Milkyway needs a project reset, at which point it will download two WU's ONE Ati application and ONE Nvidia application.

Select the Nvidia WU and abort it. Thereafter the Project only downloads ATI WU's.

At least that is how it works for me.
So I have twin crossfired 5970's crunching ATI 24/7, and the GTX 260 crunching Seti 24/7, well except for the times, like now, when the WU's are non existant haha.

One has a GTX260 for Seti as well.

    Edit: P7P55D PRO
