Hey all! After my computer going out of action a while back I finally have everything back up and running. But, I've got a GTX260 instead of my old 3870. Pretty close speed wise with the crunching. The 3870 was going about 8 min per unit (This was Dec / Jan units) and the 260 is running at 13 min per with current WU's. Not sure if the WU's have changed and the card is crunching faster than I'm giving it credit for... But on to the reason of the post. I took a look around at the usual places for an Opp App and didn't see one for NV. So I figured I'd do a quick post here to see if I was missing it / looking at the wrong sites or if there just isn't one? Thanks! |

Technically speaking, the ATI apps are not optimized either as they are the same exact version that the server sends you. The app_info allows different setting that can speed up the crunching slightly or give you more response on the system. |

That's cool that Travis and the gang used the user created apps for the ATI client! When last I was crunching there was no official ATI client so I was surprised when it downloaded a NV one right from the start. It'll make my life easier once I cobble together my spare parts BOINC drone box since I won't have to worry about updating the project app. |
