It is weekend and until now everything here at Milkyway is running flawlessly.

Even if here the day is almost over its early afternoon in the states. And tomorrow is a holiday (labour-day), so still one more day to survive ...
Psssst!

Someone remembered to feed the staff finally.
Doesn't expecting the unexpected make the unexpected the expected?
If it makes sense, DON'T do it.

It is, but it looks like things are now catching up - no work ready to dispense.
Go away, I was asleep

In Crunching terms YES, except an UNexpected outage/failiar
at SETI@Home and SETI-Bêta, the well known and still excisting SERVER issues, which will be solved after a BIGGER server is swapped with the one
with some unexpected behavior.

But I had a great weekend......

And wish you all a beautifull afternoon, evening and night ;-).

SETI issues really don't get solved, rather the constraint gets moved around. My view is that for SETI there are simply too many CPU's and GPU's doing SETI -- not the project's fault certainly -- whilst they could be doing other good work. There are a batch SETI only folks who really need to buy into the multiple project concept - it would not only help other worthy distributed processing endeavors, but also reduce the constant overload issues for SETI.
