I have a Penryn system running XP Pro 32bit, and the MoBo now contains 2 ATI GPUs - the HD5850 placed in 12 months ago, and the HD4850 moved from my other system (also an XP 32 bit quad) which has a new GPU.

I have the cc_info file <use_all_gpus> installed, but BOINC only seems to see the primary GPU.

CCC shows both GPUs, BOINC Manager on launch only shows 1 GPU

[15/12/2010 00:17:02 ATI GPU 0: ATI Radeon HD5800 series (Cypress) (CAL version 1.4.467, 1024MB, 2232 GFLOPS peak)]

I am not using a dummy plug with the HD4850, nor did I plug in a monitor at the reboot of the PC.

What do I need to do to get BM to recognise, and use the two GPUs.

If it is as simple as using the monitor on local rig reboot, or getting and using a dummy plug - please let me know.
Go away, I was asleep

1. u need dummy plug OR connect it to your monitor and extend your desktop

2. I'll srtongly recommend you to plug 4850 to the 1st PCIe slot and 5850 - to the 2nd one
