Hi

Im just wondering... if enyone have tested what effect there is if you have a slow CPU with Ati 5870 or a fast one ?

or is there a diferense in other parts of the system, memmory amout and so on...

Should be very little if any effect.

I played with OCing CPU (Pentium E6300) on 4870 & 4890 from stock 2800 to 4000 (400*10). Literally - no difference at all.

But in order to have some buffer to crunch it make sense to have "more core" CPU
