Something is very strange in the progress of two Milky Way tasks viz. de_separation_86_1s_fix_1_82989_129725903_1
and.................................................................................................................... " " " " " 82992 " "

have been running 13:58 and 15:18 respectively. The to completion time is blank. At the time of writing the servers are down for maintenance so I cannot request an update.

Does anybody have any ideas about this?

One of the two tasks (82992) resumed normal running and now shows 15:43 elapsed 7.5% progress and 81:34 to completion.

There is obviously something rotten in the state of MW@H.

Does anybody have any ideas?

After running with the progress highlighted in blue for about 15 hours both tasks have resumed at 21:36 and 22:15 GMT the progress %age changed to zero and is highlighted in white and the to completion time is vey high but coming down quickly.

I wonder if there was something missing due to the server downtime and has just been delivered.

To be frank I am at a total loss to figure this out.

MR BLACK: This is due to server issues we've had for the past two days.

Mr Blurf.
Thank you very much for the info and I hope that the servers are fixed soon.
You will see above that Matt Arsenault has posted a link to his answer about big WUs. So whatever the explanation my main concern i.e. that its nothing to do with this end has been assuaged. Incidently both WUs are now running normally and I will be interested to see if they produce acceptable results.

Best regards
John

Hi Matt,

do you have any idea how long these big WUs will take to calculate?

They have had at least two cycles past 100% and have been computing for nearly 40 hours on my Dual core E4700@2.6GHz.

I hope that after all this the results will be patent.
