Hello,

I see now MW is using 0.98 CPU + 1 ATI, last week it was only 0.45 CPU.
Has something changed?

Actually it was 0.05 CPU use last week.
More people must have this. Is it a bug of BOINC 7.0.18?

I guess it's the app from Math, as we had that a few months ago with a new app.

So crunchers look in your BOINC Manager.

It can be solved by an app_info file but I think it must be handled by Math as he has written the stock-app.

Hard to say for sure since your computers are hidden but this happened to me when the open_cl app arrived. The fix was to update the ATI drivers to 12.1.

I updated to the 12.1 drivers a few weeks ago, to continue with the openCL wu's. And the CPU was as before 0.05. Only thing is that after the update the Catalyst Control Center is not working anymore. But that cannot be the problem.

With your computers hidden it's pretty hard to offer help.

They stay hidden Beyond.
But it is something that happened by the stock-app or with BOINC 7.0.18.
Otherwise I didn't change a bit and in the previous weekend it run wit ATI and 0.05CPU usage.
What do you wanna know about my system?

Still no answer from Matthew on this? More people should see this in their BOINC Manager, Running 0.98CPUs + 1.00 ATI.
It was 0.05CPUs before the OpenCL update.

The avg_ncpus value for a single task is of no concern as long as it is less than 1. How much CPU time is used for each task is all that matters.

As your computers stay hidden it is likely that few if any will respond because only you know what is happening on your computer.
