Hey there :) Recently, BOINC software has been updated to the 7.0.25 stable version. However, WUs aren't coming in ever since I updated it. This has previously happened to me when using a beta 7.x version. 11/04/2012 10:32:31 | Milkyway@Home | Sending scheduler request: To fetch work. 11/04/2012 10:32:31 | Milkyway@Home | Requesting new tasks for ATI 11/04/2012 10:32:33 | Milkyway@Home | Scheduler request completed: got 0 new tasks 11/04/2012 10:32:33 | Milkyway@Home | No tasks sent 11/04/2012 10:32:33 | Milkyway@Home | Tasks for CPU are available, but your preferences are set to not accept them Admins, please update the server settings to accept requests from this 7.0.25 BOINC build. |

Me too- Since updating to 7.0.25, BOINC has been unable to request new GPU Separation work units I was able to create an App_Info file as workaround (using milkyway_separation_1.02_windows_x86_64__opencl_amd_ati) Just a hunch, it appears to be an issue with how Milkyway is interpreting the new OpenCL code that BOINC 7 is passing back to the projects. (I have the opposite issue with POEM, it only works on BOINC 7.x and not on BOINC 6.x) |

Hello, I have exactly the same problem as Cornel using an ATi 4890. Do you think it's specific to 48XX cards? |

So it's solved. Perhaps thread could be deleted? |

Those ATI cards should run OK, Double Precision is necessary, so check?! After cleaning out dust and [i]Trojansand reïnstall WINDOWS 7 x64; Service Pack 1, I installed BOINC 7.0.25 (x64) on a separate disk partition, atleast the DATA part, Program executables are on the BOOT disk. B.t.w. the CPU is an I7-2600, HT=ON . Using 2 EAH5870 GPU's, (by the 'looks'on an output file, you can notice, it also will run on nVIDIA* cards). About 65 seconds per WU per GPU. CPU isn't used for other purposes and core 0 has a constant load of ! 50% (Thead 0, as HT is on!) *(OpenCL, not CUDA). Runs nice.............. Knight Who says Ni |
