I tried to run some Milkyway work yesterday and got this message. Your app_info.xml file doesn't have a usable version of Milkyway@Home Separation (Modified Fit). Your app_info.xml file doesn't have a usable version of MilkyWay@Home N-Body Simulation I'm sure it was something I did that messed things up and I was wondering if there was a fairly easy way to clear out the bad version and get a new one? Thanks in advance! |

I tried to run some Milkyway work yesterday and got this message. Just rename the app_info.xml file to app_info.kha and after a restart Boinc won't see it and MW will crunch just fine. IF you ALSO run other projects then you will need to add a line to your app_info.xml file for the workunits. You can see an example of one in this thread: http://milkyway.cs.rpi.edu/milkyway/forum_thread.php?id=3684#62875 |
