HD 3870 doesn't crunch

Hello all and sorry for my english,
I'm trying to crunch Milkyway with an Ati Radeon HD3870 (ati14 app), running on a pc with Windows XP, but it doesn't work.

I tried this app_info.xml:

downloading milkyway_separation_0.82_windows_intelx86__ati14.exe in the project directory but it still doesn't work: all tasks go in computation error after few seconds.
I tried Catalyst 14.3, 12.1 and 10.2 but i get the same problem with any driver.
There is no problem with Collatz ati14 tasks (7 hours for a Solo Collatz).

According to this page http://www.hal6000.com/seti/boinc_ati_gpu_cheat_sheet.htm you cannot use any version newer than 12.8 for Windows XP machines. You can download the software from the links at the bottom of that page.

There is no problem with Collatz ati14 tasks (7 hours for a Solo Collatz).

You cannot compare different projects like that as each uses different versions of the Server software and settings of it.

Upgrade, upgrade, upgrade- I had to for the same reason and other newer windows programs did not want to run either.
