Are there any plans to issue GPU work to AMD Bonaire cards any time soon? I notice this was discussed a year ago...

They STILL have to upgrade the Server side software. MilkyWay lost all their grants and is working off of donations only right now.

One place you COULD help MW is thru the Boinc project Bitcoin Utopia at:

http://www.bitcoinutopia.net/bitcoinutopia/

They do 'campaigns' that fund different things and MW is currently one of them. The idea is users generate Bitcoins, you know the crypto currency everyone talks about, yes you can use your gpu and generate alot of credits and some Bitcoins too, with the money being donated to the campaign you are working for. 10% of the money is kept at the Project to keep it running, they started out higher but lowered it as they have become more steady and reliable.

Of course the most credits and Bitcoins are generated by people using "asic miners", but only some miners can be used there. The 'problem' with "asic miners" is they can't currently be used at any other Boinc Project, but there are reports of some projects looking at the feasibility of doing it.
