I do not have "... N-Body Simulation" checked in my preferences, so why do I keep seeing this message in my BOINC log:

(date/time stamp) | Milkyway@Home | Message from server: Your app_info.xml file doesn't have a usable version of MilkyWay@Home N-Body Simulation.

??

Since I don't do 'em, of course there isn't any entry in my app_info.xml file . . .

Standard Boinc messaging, just telling you that since you don't have the required files even if you clicked to get those kinds of units it wouldn't work.

Duh... The point is, I did not select to get N-Body Simulation tasks nor have I selected to get CPU tasks -- only NVDIA GPU tasks.

However, the messages appear to have stopped as I haven't received any since last evening.

I think they are setup to cycle thru periodically, I run Bitcoin Utopia and use an Asic Miner there, every other project I also run on the pc's also says 'fetching units for cpu(or gpu) and asic miner'. NO Boinc project except Bitcoin Utopia has asic miner units, yet EVERYONE of them says it looking for them when I get new workunits. It's just another one of those quirks that is the 'default setting' because it MIGHT work some day.
