This seems very odd to me that GPU workunits complete after having run only about 30 seconds. Is there any way to get larger workunits for GPU? CPU workunits seem to complete really fast too for some reason. No error messages at all.

Hey rcthardcore,

I have made the GPU units run much faster than they used to by changing the resolution with which we do some of our mapping. We found that we could reduce resolution without changing the results of our work and thus greatly improve the rate at which we could make discoveries. This does result in a much smaller work unit for you guys. Sadly, without needlessly increasing the computation time, there is no way currently to increase work unit size. If you wish to run more than one work unit on your GPU at a time though, there are instructions available in one of these other posts in Number Crunching.

Thanks Jake! I found the post you were talking about and made an app_config file. Just wish the credit was more. Hate Creditscrew.

The credit is scaled proportionally so you should be able to earn the same amount of credits (or close to it) over the same amount of time. Just now you need to complete more of the faster work units to do it. Basically, the increase in speed is the factor with which the credit should have been scaled.
