I've recently installed a second graphics card for crunching and I noticed that for GPU-based MW tasks, progress is sometimes unnaturally fast, goes up to 80% (that seems to vary, though), freezes and then the task just resets to 0. The "second run" seems to go off without a hitch, though. The event log makes no mention of this anomaly and there is not computation error logged or the like for the task.

I'm not sure if this is even related to the second GPU (it happens with the original GPU too and I don't have this issue with other BOINC projects).

Could it have something to do with me running 2 tasks on one GPU via the app config file (with the method outlined here)? The new GPU was at around 50% load with 1 task, so I increased that to 2 and now it's 100 without noticeably affecting speed of individual tasks, but due to this problem the improvement in efficiency doesn't seem to be too stellar overall.

New tasks are now a bundle of 5 WUs so that why it resets after completing each WU.
