Ok I just bought a new Sapphire RX580 Nitro+ 8Gb card to replace my two older HD XFX6950 2Gb's(Did an xml config crunching 2 wu's on the new RX580 card cutting my power consumption in 1/2 for doing the same amount of work really happy about that haha!) moved one over to replace some smaller cards in another PC got a grand total of 3 Wu's on initial startup of the HD6950 yesterday and now nothing?.How do I get GPU crunching again on this PC with the new config? I know the setup is right cause I did three good ones?

There have been some database issues. What does your event log say? There were also some aborted tasks and the admin has tightened down on errors.

And now both machines with a 580 in them have lots of work units!

Ok I'm a little confused here

1.)I have removed Moowrap.net so why does BOINC still want to get my Moowrap General preferences? why isn't it reading Milkyway preferences?

2.) Why can't it find my Host location?

Ok I'm a little confused here

1.)I have removed Moowrap.net so why does BOINC still want to get my Moowrap General preferences? why isn't it reading Milkyway preferences?

Because Boinc is using MooWrap as the default settings, I have no clue how to change it from that but sometimes have the same problems. My solution was to go into the Boinc Manager and manually change each machine to the settings I want them to be, then the 'master location' won't change them to something else.

2.) Why can't it find my Host location?

Host location in this case means "venue" as in home, school, work or default, it seems you have it on default. You get there thru 'your account', then 'Preferences for this project MilkyWay@Home preferences'. You can set these so different pc's can use different settings at each project. I do it because I never use both the cpu's and gpu's at the same project on the same pc, so need one venue for cpu workunits and a different venue for gpu workunits. I also use it for my backup projects in case my main project goes down, I put a zero as the resource share and it only gets work when my main project doesn't send me any. That way my cpu's and gpu's never run out of work even if a given project does.

Mine always updates to WCG for some reason. Its a PIA even w/o using web preferences. Some projects through a fit since some don't have all of the locations.

Mine uses WCG too, that's why I went to local settings for everything. To be honest MOST of my pc's use identical settings but some have slightly different cache sizes.
