Everyone is now on a level playing field! As it should be! Don't bet on that! This is an open-source project now and everyone can download the code and optimize it when he finds a way to make the app faster. Member of BOINC@Heidelberg and ATA! My BOINCstats |

I do not have a milkyway folder inside my BOINC folder! In fact, I have been running milkyway since 12-24-08 although my finished wu only shows three units for some reason (two finished and working on one now and many are missing since I first started!).http://milkyway.cs.rpi.edu/milkyway/results.php?userid=22914 My problem is that I have to manually detach the milkyway client each time in order to get a new wu. So, each time one finishes I must detach, reattch, in order to get a new unit. I can never get a new work unit with the BOINC Manger running (6.4.5) itself. If I cleick on the Update button after a unit finishes all it does it get my finished wu and does not give me another. And now many of my results have disappeared from the page at http://milkyway.cs.rpi.edu/milkyway/results.php?userid=22914 . At night I have to styart up my Seventeen or Bust because my BOINC manager will not get a new wu when one finishes and I have never been able to download more than one wu! Can anybody help me? Make sure your connect days setting is under 5 days to get any wu's.(in Boinc) Give that a try. Are you running other projects also? That could defer you from getting any new wu's. *edit* Also this does not go with the topic, so you might get other replys in a better suited topic. And the initial info doesn't apply anymore. Doesn't expecting the unexpected make the unexpected the expected? If it makes sense, DON'T do it. |
