Well, I simply do not get the new app on Mac OS 10.5, on a Mini (C2D T7200) and on a Mac Pro Rev1 (Xeon 5150). I've: - removed the appinfo.xml - reset the project - still app 1.22 (of Crunch3r) running If I remove the 1.22 app, the WU go in error, even after a reset. |

Hey Travis, I'm getting extremely long crunch times on GS series WU's and compute errors on the same GS series, on the new test app...the test WU's are working fine though on two computers now. |

The PPC G5's aren't actually x86_64 processors. Those are the Core 2 series, whether Core 2 Duo or Core 2 Extreme (I remember some extreme versions in the iMacs), or most of the recent Xeons in the Mac Pros. Your processor is a ppc64 arch, which Milkyway doesn't have any applications specifically for right now. You'll be using the PPC 32-bit app. ![]() |

That would be all fine and good if I were referencing a G5 however I was talking about a GS series WU not a computer processor...I actually run a Mac Pro Intel machine and I'm well aware of what I have and what I don't have...my prior post was also to Travis I believe, however it's since been resolved as these were hold over units (GS series) that kept being sent to my computer after I changed to the test app. |

D'oh... My bad. The GS looked like a G5, and I thought you were trying to run a G5 proc as an x86_64. Ignore my post then. ![]() |

I have a 32-bit MacPro and I just got a WU with the 64-bit app. Is that correct? Jim |

I have a 32-bit MacPro and I just got a WU with the 64-bit app. Is that correct? AFAIK, all Mac Pros had 64-bit processors, so you're fine. I suppose you're thinking that the OS X kernel is still 32-bit, but it will run 64-bit applications just fine on a 64-bit processor. ![]() |

I certainly did not know that. Thanks, Jim |
