hello,

does anyone know, whether results reported after deadline due to server-downtime will be credited or not?

I´m asking, because my main machine (a godless P3 650 Mhz) didn´t get to report a days work (4-5 WUs) in time.

This has been answeered elsewhere....

No work given out prior to the downtime and reported after coming back online will get credit. The server would ahve been down for a lot longer if the admins and programmers had continued to try and recover work from the crashed system, it was easier (and more efficient, in terms of amount of work done in the long term) for them to just discard all the work many of us did.

There are opther threads where this is being discussed if you want to add your comments about it :)

Both Travis and Dave have reported in another thread that no credit will be awarded due to the database having to be purged in order to get the system back up and running.

I didn't lose as many as some here but I still lost credit for 104 reported work units.
It hurts but not a lot we can do about it.

EDIT: I see that Debs was a bit quicker than I was.

And not only credit, but even folks were deemed to not exist. AH well, just had (according to BM) 708 credits from a a few hrs work, plus the 24 units that died in the crash, but having to re-sign was/is a RPPITA.

ummm that is, a Right Proper Pain In The @ss.

so, back to S1
