For some reason, all MilkyWay jobs are failing on one of my computers. All other computers are fine, and this computer works perfectly on every other BOINC project I have tried. All computers are running the MilkyWay SSE3 optimized app from zslip.com. The computer is not overclocked. Can anyone give me suggestions as to why this PC is failing and what I can do to fix it? Thanks. This is a link to the computer info: http://milkyway.cs.rpi.edu/milkyway/show_host_detail.php?hostid=26231 And to the tasks for the computer: http://milkyway.cs.rpi.edu/milkyway/results.php?hostid=26231 I detached the computer from the project for now so that it will not cause any more errors until I can fix the problem. |

One of the stacktraces I looked at from a workunit said it was using the SSE4.1 application, which, as you're probably aware, the E4500 doesn't support. Make sure you're using the SSSE3 or lower application. |

That's odd. I copied the files from my server to each of the PCs and didn't even download the SSE4 application from zslip.com so I don't know how it could have been installed. I checked the project folder on that computer and it does have the SSE4 exe file so I'll replace it with the correct one. Thanks for catching that! :) |
