Message 72 - Posted: 4 Oct 2007, 1:28:30 UTC - in response to Message 70.

I sent you an email with the log of how I reattached to BOINC alpha. It shows some differences to my log in post 62.

Regarding your second email... I think I may have fixed that error.

Yes, I noticed that. It hasn't fixed the problem though. I even detached and reattached again, but still the same.

Now I wonder why we're internally moved to http://milkyway.cs.rpi.edu/milkyway
Why can't we just attach to that URL?

Trying that, the log changes but the outcome is the same.

HAHA yeah, it took me a while, but it should be fixed now =D

Yup, I've got one result and am crunching it as I type this. :-)

Now everyone attached to just http://milkyway.cs.rpi.edu should detach and reattach to http://milkyway.cs.rpi.edu/milkyway

Keep an eye out on the runtime if you are running Windows!

I seem to go over 100% complete with the 1.05 Windows application, but this time I will let it run a bit longer to see if it does end somewhere! ;)

I noticed that. The stderr.txt keeps growing in the slot as well. Already over 20MB. I just hope it doesn't need to upload all that. ;-)

Apparently the windows version thinks there is a memory leak, and its outputting all the modules it's dumping to stderr.txt... I'm working on a fix for that too ;D

Already over 45MB... how big a file can I expect in the end?

(I've got 6.93GB free on that partition, so I won't run into space trouble any time soon... I just hope it doesn't want to upload that all, as the new client is supposed to upload more than just the first 64KB of the stderr.txt file. ;-))

This result for which I ended the process would certainly seem to confirm that! ;)

How big can it get? Do you remember the messages from awhile ago that would claim that we did not have enough memory no matter the size of your HD? ;)
