Well Folks I figured out how to get out of fixing supper for a few days.
Stick a 12 inch Butcher knife through your hand and cut an Artery.
D@*n my hand hurts and there was no opening in Surgery until early in the AM!
And this pressure bandage is on sooo tight that I can barely stand it.
Bad Word, bad word, bad word!

PEACE or Pistols...Yer Choice ;-}

So it's true! We've got a new Canuck!

Do they have Root Beer? I can vouch for the fact that they have the other beer!

BTW, sorry to hear that Jim. You really should quit doing that. Ouch!

I've cut my fingers good before but not to that extent. I'm sure words can't describe it. Good luck on getting back to normal.

No, But I can imagine what It's like, As I've been cut, scraped and had a broken a bone before, It's the skin that is protesting the most as It's fighting some small infections and stuff, That and It's injured and doesn't like It a bit, My ankle has two good sized scars that'll attest to that(that's where the 3 screws were put in as they moved the foot out of the way to drill up the the two bones to install the main two screws at, the third screw holds the two bones side by side, For a few weeks I had 13 stainless steel staples in My ankle, a bandage that had to be changed once a week for about 3 or 4 weeks before It wasn't needed anymore and I had to wear a brace for nearly 6 months until the bones were properly healed from their injury, I was out for 2 hours during surgery while this was done to Me, Without the pills for a while It could be almost too much, I still have pain today in My ankle joints, one joint from not much activity and the other from the surgery and no rehab which didn't help much either, I had to get some movement back on My own into My left ankle as I couldn't at first bend the left ankle to the left at all and so that was My rehab).

This is a slowly typed post.
They did the surgery on my hand and repaired the artery and re connected some severed nerves.
All looks good for now. In 2 weeks I'll know if they saved everything or if the Thumb has to go.
It's hard enough to type with one hand but I'm doing everything they told me to...So I just have to wait and see.
I hope that I don't get mad cow because there was some Beef in there they had to dig out also. ;-b,,,
