Percentage complete.
(Message 66074)
Posted 3 Jan 2017 by adrianxw Post: The current program SEEMS to be running okay, but I can see the percentage complete jumping up and down all over the place. Runs up to 20% drops to 5%, up to perhaps 35%, down again, sometimes many repetitions. |

Aborted by user.
(Message 65105)
Posted 5 Sep 2016 by adrianxw Post: I looked at my results page and was suprised to find over 700 work units flagged as "Aborted by user". As far as I know, I have not aborted any, let alone 700+. |

Fix For Truncated stderr.txt Files BOINC 7.6.6
(Message 63884)
Posted 18 Aug 2015 by adrianxw Post: I have tried to download the newer BOINC version 3 times, each time, it failed with a generic failure message. I guess it will sort itself out after a while, I had not seen the problem anyway, so not a critical issue. |

Odd errors.
(Message 63455)
Posted 23 Apr 2015 by adrianxw Post: Three more errors today, (in the last 12 hours), no new tasks set. I think the failures are happening when the system is restarted, an inconvenient, but necessary action for me right now. |

Multithreaded opt out.
(Message 62130)
Posted 7 Aug 2014 by adrianxw Post: Okay, done. I had assumed that multithreading would be a project wide setting, and hence, was looking in the wrong place. For the curious, I wanted to get out of mt because it waste significant resources - I hate to see the Windows Idle Process "running" when I have loads of work for other projects waiting on the same machine. I dumped LHC's T4T project for the same reason. |
