Without knowing what hardware you actually have (your descriptions tell us nothing) it's hard to say. CPU based tasks should work, if your setup supports them (is it a 32-bit or 64-bit CPU? What OS?); the GPU is going to be a lot harder to say - need to know what it is to say what might run on it.

Keep in mind that not all problems are suited to GPU usage. Some problems do run much better on CPU.

I have 2 PCs with an Intel GPU. Do you have plans about developing an app for Intel GPUs??

Currently there is no reason for them to develop it - the Intel GPU isn't capable of running the math for this project.

I'm beginning to notice quite a few tasks (and I'm noticing it for some pretty big ones too see this task attached to this WU as an example) - any thoughts why Invalid tasks seem to be popping up more often then I'm used to seeing?

So how long is it planned for them to be in beta? I do like that it is a MT/MP application, which none of the other tasks I run on BOINC are. Just wish the credits gained faster.

I'd like to add the Radeon HD 77xx series to the list. I'm crunching WUs beautify on a HD 7750 here.

The last three lines say the driver isn't the right one, Boinc found a gpu but it doesn't support the OpenCL format, meaning either your gpu won't work or the drivers are the wrong ones, I would go with the drivers until proven otherwise. Start cruising thru other users accounts and look at what drivers they are using and start trying some. You could also try searching the Nvidia boards, but they are mostly helpful to gamers. The one other thing is are you trying to run the gpu inside a virtual box? That may not work for crunching, I have never seen anyone say they had that working, cpu crunching yes but never gpu crunching.

I will check the driver versions. BOINC reports virtual box version if it finds vbox installed on the system. I'm certainly not trying to crunch a VM.

I'm also noticing BOINC having an issue with how much RAM it think my cards have. It says my Quadro 600 has 246GB of video RAM - and over 100TB of video RAM availible. Quite impressive for a low end card! (Also thinks the Quadro FX 1800 in another computer has 4GB of video RAM).

I'm getting the same error. Any thoughts would be nice.
